Ready, set, search! Where is the big teddy bear? Who is next to the dollhouse? What do you see in front of the toy chest? To find out which object or character to look for, listen carefully to Mom or Dad’s question.

Goal: Understand basic concepts

Ready, set, search! Where is the big teddy bear? Who is next to the dollhouse? What do you see in front of the toy chest? To find out which object or character to look for, listen carefully to Mom or Dad’s question. You can also go on a hunt for the items shown on the "Search Everywhere" cards!

*Who Searches for What, Where, and How?* is designed to help children aged 2 to 4 grasp basic concepts such as "small," "big," "in," "in front of," "above," and more. The various game levels allow children to understand increasingly complex concepts.

The game includes four game boards and 72 cards that focus on a variety of concepts, such as:

  • size concepts like “small,” “big,” “large,” and “long”;
  • familiar opposites like “open,” “closed,” “empty,” and “full”;
  • spatial concepts such as “up,” “down,” “in,” “on,” “under,” “above,” “below,” “next to,” “in the middle,” “in front of,” and “behind”;
  • descriptive adjectives such as “clean,” “dirty,” “wet,” and “dry.

Four levels of play representing different everyday scenes are available, depending on the child’s age or skill level:

  • 2 to 2½ years: the playroom
  • 2½ to 3 years: the bathroom
  • 3 to 3½ years: the playpen
  • 3½ to 4 years old: the toy store

Children can also search for objects shown on the “Look Everywhere” cards. Once they find an item, they must compare the two items (the one shown on the card and the one shown on the board) and say whether they are the same or different (“same or not the same”).
