Glass is a safe material, much sturdier than you'd think. It's ideal for night lights because, unlike porcelain, glass doesn't get hot to the touch for little ones. Glass also won't melt, unlike plastic night lights. Finally, glass is an eco-friendly, durable material. The night light will still look beautiful and keep its colors and details even in 50 years!
Practical
Night lights are very handy for reassuring a child afraid of the dark, and for lighting the way for a parent who needs to get up at night to feed, change a diaper, or give medicine. It can be placed in the hallway, the bathroom, or even the kitchen!
Bulb and fixture:
- The night light's glow is strong enough to gently light up the whole room. As a guide, you could read a small book while sitting next to it.
- The included bulb is 5 watts; be careful not to use a bulb over 7 watts. A fixture for European outlets (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands...) is also available on our online shop. A bulb suited to 220-volt outlets will be provided with your European fixture. Note that American bulbs are not compatible with European fixtures, as the voltage differs.
